WAYS TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR EMPLOYEES

Hiring and keeping the best employees is the only way to ensure the continuity and corporate existence of such organization.
Listed below are some practical steps to proper employees’ management:

1. Give your employees a vision to run with as vision ignites ones drive. Where organization vision is lacking, the best will not be got of the employees.

2. Make public your high expectations of them. Do you know that people naturally rise to your expectation of them? This is one simple psychological principle that will help boost the confidence of your employees if well managed. Express your belief in their ability to deliver even when they make mistakes.

3. Set goals for the organization and for your employees. This is the easiest way to get results in any business. This will help you actualize your vision. Set both organizational and departmental goals for short, medium and long term. Monitor the progress or otherwise of each staff in their attempt to achieve the stated goals.

4. Believe and have faith in your staff. As the head of the organization, have confidence that your staff will deliver in any given assignment.

5. Remunerate your staff accordingly. Financial remuneration, prestige recognition, pride, sense of doing the right thing are some of the reasons why people work. Remuneration should be commensurate to effort. Compensation such as bonuses should be based on results achieved rather than task performed.
